Royal Himalayan Treks and Expedition Pvt. Ltd. Is a Registered Company under the lows of Nepal Government. our company has some terms and condition doing the adventure activities in the Himalayan region. During such as Trekking, climbing or any other activities, due to bad weather sometime we may not able to complete the proposed of your trip. The weather or any disaster is beyond of our control so, can’t do anything against them.Though we always give our best to reduce any risks and hazards to our capacity, but still there are chances of accidents happening, for possibilities of those difficult situation you have to be agree with following terms & conditions.
Trip booking Trems & conditions with Royal Himalayan Treks & Expedition.
All trip bookings are made with Royal Himalayan Treks & Expedition Pvt. Ltd. Situated in Sarasowtinagar Kapan Kathmandu Nepal.

Bookings Method:
To process a booking trip you must send us a complete booking form with 20% of refundable deposit as detailed below. This will constitute acceptance by you of the terms and conditions. We require you to send us copy of your passport and after receiving the copy of your passport and the complete booking form with your advance, why we ask you advance, because we have to prepare many thing before your arrival. Like, get ready Trekking permits/ tims cards/ transportation/ hotel booking etc.

All deposits required are per person per trip.
Please contact us regarding direct deposit details. A bank service charge may apply and should be paid at the time of deposit.

For credit card payment: We only accept Visa or Master Card and a 4% charge will be added for card processing fees.
Remaining payment is required to be cleared within one week of the trip departure date.
As a rules and regulation of the company must be full payment before a week of your trip departure 

We will also accept your last minute booking prior to 10 days to tour departure date but full payment is required for this.

Cancellation & Booking Changes:
If our clients won’t be able to make their booked trip or want to cancel their program due to some reason, Royal Himalayan Treks & Expedition will refund the amount as per our company rules which are mentioned below.

Any Treks & Tours that are booked and then want to cancel, there will be some charges or non charges as the per reason of cancelation.

Note: If you want to postpone your booked trip, please inform to our office before 7 days from your trip departure date and then we can postpone your trip for same itinerary. In that cause cancellation charge won’t be made.

Passport and Visas:
All clients must have a valid passport with at least 6 months validity from return date.
Nepalese visas can be obtained from the Nepalese Consulate in your country or after the arrival in Kathmandu Airport.
Nepalese visas costs are the sole responsibility of clients. Visa Fees and Requirements:

  • The fee for a Single Entry Tourist Visa to Nepal for 90 days is US $100 or equivalent foreign currency
  • Additional $60 Multiple Entry Visas
  • Tourist visa can be extended for a maximum of 150 days. Visa extension fee for 30 days is US $ 60
  • To apply for visa, you will also need a valid passport, and two passport size of photos
  • Business Visa fee is US$ 100 for one year with multiple re-entry and US$ 250 for five years with multiple re-entries.
    Travel Insurance:
    Travel insurance is compulsory for all clients undertaking any tour. It should provide adequate protection for the full duration of the tour to cover personal injury, death, medical expenses, repatriation expenses, helicopter rescue, air ambulance and adequate cover for baggage.

Health & Fitness: All our Nepal tours and treks require a level of fitness. So, you should always check with your local GP regarding your health and fitness before you travel. It’s the client’s responsibility to notify Royal Himalayan Treks & Expedition of any pre-existing medical condition and/or disability that might reasonably be expected to increase. So, there will the risk of you being sick or your condition detoriates and this may require medical attention that may affect your ability to travel. Better you count on your medical fitness and travel when you are completely fit and able for tours and treks.

Children: A legal guardian must accompany all travelers under the age of ten. If you have a question regarding age and suitability, please contact us for further information.
Changes to your Holiday and Pricing: Traveling with Royal Himalayan Treks & Expedition requires a degree of flexibility, good humor and understanding of different modes of transportation, accommodation and itineraries. Even after the tour has commenced, without prior notice due to local circumstances such as flight delay, cancellation or postponement due to notorious weather in the Himalayan region or other unpredictable circumstances such as land-slides, road blockage, flood, snow, political unrest or delay arrival etc. Royal Himalayan Treks & Expedition will be unable to refund any moneys under the above circumstances due to prior supplier arrangements. If possible we will always endeavour to provide you an alternative or substitute trip of same category.

We do not accept any responsibility for loss on employment, delays or compensation resulting from situations beyond trip control. Our holidays, tour / trek packages are based on twin share accommodation. Thus, single room supplement charge will be imposed to clients who do not have another tour participant to share accommodation with.  We reserve the right to revise pricing rates posted in our marketing material under any circumstances, or on the pressure of various external factors that are further than our control, for instance changes in exchange rate, government action etc.

Privacy: In order to collect information from you to making a booking through Royal Himalayan Treks & Expedition we ask many questions to obtain the necessary permits etc. No private or personal information that you supply to us when making a booking will be disclosed for any other purposes.

Risk & Liabilities: We are committed on providing the best services which will give you a once in a life time journey and for this we’ll perform our duties honestly & seriously to make your journey very smooth & pleasant. However, the entire programs in Nepal are conducted strictly under the rules and regulation of theirs’ own policies.

Therefore, Royal Himalayan Treks & Expedition and its related organization shall not be responsible for any changes in the itinerary due to unavoidable circumstance such as govt. restriction, land slide, road blockage, flood, cancellation of flight, delay, sickness or accident, etc. So, any extra cost incurring there of shall be borne by the clients on the spots.

Our Responsible Tourism Policy: Royal Himalayan Treks & Expedition is re-inventing tourism for the benefit of local people, tourists, environment and the tourism industry at large. We ask you to read our Responsible Travel and Ethnic Tourism policy in detail before you book your holiday with us, as we expect that you will adhere to our policy and guidelines while travelling with us.
